On my journey to building my own online business I have discovered and learned quite a few “need to’s”. What are “need to’s” you might ask? Well you will find out what I mean below.
In my personal opinion I think these “need to’s” are very VERY important and are the difference between those who succeed online and those who fail. I think the statistic is roughly that 97% of people fail when it comes to making money online and building a successful online business. I bet you those people who fail, do not abide to these “need to’s”.
Please don’t underestimate the power of this list.
Here are my top 10 “need to’s”:
1. You need to choose a proven online business system/ model
2. You need to have a successful mentor
3. You need to stick to 1 system, method, strategy, or online business model to follow
4. You need to stay FOCUSED
5. You need to take consistent action
6. You need to stop always focusing on perfection
7. You need to block out distractions from the latest shiny objects
8. You need to hold yourself responsible for your own future and stop making excuses
9. You need to stop fearing failure
10. You need to start now! There’s no time like the present, there will never be a “perfect” time to start.

If your thinking to yourself i don’t do most of them, don’t worry everyone has been there. I myself struggled for years and years, until i started to apply this list to my own business.
It really is that powerful!
If you abide to this list of “need to’s” you put yourself in the position to be in the top 3% of people who are successful online.

Yes, I do agree with you that every internet marketer need to
focus on those 10 essentials. In my opinion we people sometime get impatient with the process we do or follow and immediately believe some quick rich story which block’s our path to success. A great article indeed.

Yes very true shiny objects can be tempting, but you need to be disciplined and strict and say i need to follow this 1 business plan to the end.

Great list and all valid points, it would actually be tough say one is more important than the other as they are all vital in having a successful online business. But I can personally relate to 3, 4 and 5, stick to one system, stay focused and take consistent action as those are the 3 I need to keep at the forefront of my mind and which I have slipped up on the past.

I agree with these tips and focus is a must, I sometimes lose track myself. Also discipline is a must but I feel that some people don’t have that and learn from their mistakes.
Also taking action is a must too many people talk to much and do nothing. I feel doing things one step at time and doing some homework on your niche is a must.
